​Hailing from the UK, Jay James is a highly accomplished, multi-faceted Industry professional boasting an impressive 17+ year career as a solo artist & songwriter working with some of the biggest names in music that include Booker T, Simon Cowell, John Legend to The Jonas Brothers. In 2019 Jay became a member of British, 'No1 Multi-platinum selling Music group' The Overtones. With an impressive resume of 5 Top 10 albums and 11 sell out National Tours, the group are considered ‘'One of the UK's most popular and prolific live acts' - (Hello Magazine).

 

Despite managing his own career for the past decade, Jay started a more serious transition into music management within the last three years founding The Fly United / 'TFU' ; a highly dynamic, young Management & Creative Agency specializing in 'elevating' talent from the World of Music & Entertainment. 

 

In 2023, Jay was specially selected to be part of a groundbreaking initiative by the European Music Managers Alliance (EMMA) with their ‘Mentorship Programme’, looking to develop and build better connections and partnerships with young, exceptional music managers in and around Europe.

 

Fun facts: Jay served 10 years within the UK Armed Forces and was once featured at number 10 in Heat & FHM’s Magazine’s Annual ‘Top 100 Hottest Men in the World’ Poll.
